The TrxT- mutant (w Df(1)J5) had very similar lifespans to the control and the double mutant had only a slightly shorter lifespan than the single TrxT mutant.
Double mutant Trx-2(DF);TrxT(DF) has a lifespan of 46.9 days, while single mutant TrxT(DF) has a lifespan of 50.4 days, single mutant Trx-2(DF) has a lifespan of 38.4 days and wild type has a lifespan of 50.8 days.
